The University encourages and extends adequate academic and infrastructural facilities to promote research activities

1. The faculty of the University has published their research work in various Journal/Conferences of National and International repute.To cater to the needs of researchers, all the Departments are provided dedicated research laboratories which are well equipped with latest software.
2. The University is in its infancy stage and the research programmes have been introduced recently. However the faculty members have already applied for research grant of 08 research projects from funding agencies like DST, Aeronautics Research and Development Board, SERB etc. To promote the research activities, University has already provided grant for 09 in-house research projects.
3. The University has liberal policy of funding for filing Patents and Copyrights. Two patents have been published by the faculty members of the university.

The University publishes MMU Journal of Management & Technology (ISSN Online: 2455-4456) which is a peer reviewed journal. The editorial board reviews the originality and quality of research work submitted for publication.
The Editorial Advisory Board is composed of eminent researchers and scientists from Institutions/Organizations of repute like CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, HCL Infotech Ltd.-Noida, PYVERSE Technologies LLC-USA, IITs, NITs, DCRUST Murthal, Panjab University-Chandigarh, Kurukshetra University, Punjabi University-Patiala, GNDU-Amritsar, MDU-Rohtak, etc.

The University also extends all kinds of aids to promote consultancy services in the diversified fields of Engineering, Management and Architecture.
