The next destination was Udaipur, which is also known as ‘City of Lakes’. The students visited ‘SaheliyonkiBaari’ and various lakes and were explained the Water Harvesting System being practiced by our ancestors long years back.

The students studied in detail the local architecture of Jaisalmer by measuring different parts of the houses/havelis, making live sketches, etc. They understand various passive techniques being employed by the local people to make their habitats cool during extreme weather. Overall it was a great learning experience for the students on the Land of Sand.
