MM School of Architecture organized the installation ceremonyof‘Student Council’ for academic session 2017-18 and also Academic Awards for session 2016-2017 on 11thNovember 2017. Ar. Swarn Pahwa, Ex HOD, Architecture Dept., Govt. Polytechnic, Ambala and Mr. Ashok Pahwa, retired GM from Haryana Financial Co-corporation graced the occasion as Chief Guest and as Guest of Honor respectively.

The students of MM SOA are equal stakeholders in the day to day affairs of the college, hence they play an important role in between the students and the college faculty and are motivated to give valuable suggestions for the growth of the college. The elections for IIIrd student council were conducted to choose the council for the academic session 2017-18. The elected students were installed for various posts; Archi Head Boy, Archi Head Girl, Sports Head, Graphic Designer, Cultural Heads, Treasurer, Press and Publicity and Captains and Vice Captains of each of the 4 houses.

The students of all the years were also awarded on this occasion with ‘Academic awards’inseven categories and cash prizesworth Rs.1100/-eachgiven to meritorious students of each class, sponsored by our Chief Guest Ar. Swarn Pahwa, Dr Deepak Arora and Our Principal Prof Aradhana Jindal. These awards were given to motivate the toppers andto promote healthy competition among the students.
