Founder’s Day Celebration

MM School of Architecture celebrated Founder’s day on 11th September, 2018, to remember and express our gratitude to our founder, Shri Tarsem Garg, for his wisdom and ambition in establishing an academic institution that could transform individuals into better global citizens.

On this occasion, MM SOA organized an inter-house competition of poster making on the theme being ‘a social cause’ such as ‘quit smoking’, ‘save environment’, ‘corruption’ and ‘save girls’ as posters are a powerful medium which have the ability to cause a rapid response by arousing empathy, connecting to the hearts and minds of humans with emotive visual imagery demanding attention. The objective was to engross the hidden talent of the students and for this a chit system was followed to choose the respective topics by all the four teams. The young artists of all the four houses- Rajput, Chola, Mughal and Maurya, participated enthusiastically by bringing out the creative expressions out of them and also triggered the thought process and sensitized themselves towards such serious issues of today’s time.

Prof. Aradhana Jindal, Principal, appreciated the efforts made by the creative minds of MM SOA and declared Rajput house as the winner team followed by Mughal house and Chola house respectively. All the students participated with a great zeal and enthusiasm. It was a great learning and a fun filled activity for all the participants.
