An industrial visit was organized by MM School of Architecture Ambala on 23rd Feb 2018 at Pushp Industries, Humanyunpur for the students of B. Arch. 2nd semester students. The students were made aware of the process of conversion of timber into plywood.

It involved mechanized slicing of logs into veneers and blocks followed by seasoning in open and closed kilns. The members were manually laid to make ply boards and plywood of different thicknesses which were pressed and cut to final sizes. The students documented the process in the form of notes and photographs. The visit thus conducted was beneficial to gain practical knowledge and bridge gap between theory and practice.
