An ECBC Wokshop was organized by Council of Architecture in Bhubaneswar, Orissa from 25th to 27th March, 2018. Two faculty members from MMSOA, Ambala joined the programme and were made aware of theoretical framework and practical implementation of Energy conservation codes in building industry

It involved fundamental knowledge of ECBC, its scope and administration. The building envelope was thoroughly discussed with sources of energy consumption such as lighting,electrical, envelope insulation etc. Various methods of energy conservation and incorporation of renewable energy systems were elaborated. The session ended with lectures on approaches to ECBC compliance,case studies and energysimulation on software.
The workshop provided wide knowledge of sustainability amd its implementationwhich has indispensable demand in current time.
