1st year students visited Sai Brick Kiln at Kalpi Village, Ambala on 6.12.2017 as per curriculum prescribed in the subject Building Materials and construction –I. They learnt about the various processes undertaken in the manufacture of bricks i.e. preparation of clay, Brick molding, Drying ,Burning and also familiarized themselves with the different types and classes of bricks,cost,sources of raw material etc. by onsite interaction with involved person. The visit was successful in imparting practical knowledge about brick as a building material to the students.
