The University organizes various programmes for sensitization of faculty and students towards institutional social responsibility some of which are highlighted as under:

NSS

The NSS Unit at MM University, Sadopur has evolved to include the participation of all stakeholders: students, faculty and the local community.Students and faculty at the University have actively participated in various programmes of social responsibility like blood donation camps, tree plantation, cloth donation camps, swachhtaabhiyan, nukkadnataks, women empowerment activities, earth day celebrations etc. Besides this, some extension activities organized by students of various departments includes:

Helping Hand

The University has constituted a social service program ‘Helping Hand’ through which the needy children of the local community get free guidance for their school studies. Further, all constituents of the University are made aware of its Social Responsibility. In addition, the monetary and materialistic contribution of every individual helps children of under-privileged section of community to get enrolled themselves in local schools.

Women Cell

A Women Cell has been constituted, to foster gender equality and a safer environment for women staff/students in the University. The Women Cell organizes activities like paper presentation, group discussions, martial arts and extempore talks to enlighten the students with various issues related to women.
