A three-day vibrant, contagious and enthusiastic techno-cultural event, “SWAROOPMM’17”was organized from 6th -8th April, 2017 at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Sadopur, Ambala. The inaugural ceremony was held in the University auditorium and the lamp lighting ceremony wascommemorated by honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Sharma, honorable Chief guests of the day Shri Sandeep Singh, ex-captain of the Indian national Hockey team and a DSP  in the Haryana Police, Shri BikramjeetSingh, a field hockey national player, Registrar, Principals and Deans. AllHoDs, Faculty Members, Students of various colleges and students of MM University Sadopur made the inaugural ceremony a very heartfelt occasion.

Swaroopmm’17 will always be a mesmerizing platform as it was shaped to encirclefusion of technical, cultural, literary, fine arts, photography and sports events like: Rangoli, Quiz, Dance, Singing, Fashion Show, Gully Cricket, Futsal, Tatooeezz, Ad-O-Mart, NukkadNatak, Reverse Film Making, Picture Perfect, Masquerade, War of Words, Project Exhibitionand many more. The mega events of the fest like FBB Campus Princess (where the winners would be eligible for direct participation in Miss India Contest, 2017), performance by Light Ear Band, EDM and DJ Night, KTM Bike Stuntand Social Talk by Ms. VijayLakshmi Sharma, an activist for the fight against child marriages in Rajasthan and Mr.OmkarNathakka Medicine Baba complemented the flavor of the fest and covered most of the dimensions of astonishing participation.The events were diligently organized by staff and students of MMU.

The fest was concluded with Distribution of Prizes to the winners by respected Vice- Chancellor, MMU, Mullana, Dr. Victor Gambhir, Vice-Chancellor MMU, Sadopur Dr. Harish Sharma and registrar, Prof. Raman Gupta.
The objective of the Fest was to promote youth culture, expand networking opportunities, and provide a platform for exchange of creative ideas and channelize the students for the constructive social gathering. The efforts of MMU, Sadopur team has been highly laud by the management of M.M. Trust as SWAROOPMM’17is anticipated to be an imperative event in strengthening the continual search for institutional regeneration and excellence.
