The students fo 5th Semester (3rd Year) attended a one-day training programme of BEE Standards and Labelling conducted at AP Residency, Ambala City on 8th August, accompanied with the faculty member Ar. Ekta Sharma.

The programme was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency to provide awareness about Labelling and Star Rating system of Electrical appliances. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sukhchain Singh (Project Manager of EC) inaugurated the programme. Mr. Neeraj Sharma delivered presentations, introducing the BEE Standards & Labelling process that enabled the students to gather knowledge about latest rating system of electrical appliances and solar systems. He also briefed about energy saving tips that one can use in day to day life. After lunch, a Question-Answer session was organised followed by a Quiz round in which all students participated with great enthusiasm and won four prizes. Participation certificates were awarded to all the students.

Overall it was a great learning experience for the students.
